ATL Hates on BCLS' Princeton Review Rankings

BC Law maintained its place as the fifth best law school for career prospects according to the Princeton Review (subscription required).  While also garnering a fifth place ranking for the quality of its faculty, BCLS’ prominence in these rankings has been questioned by legal gossip blog Above the Law:

Notice that Yale Law School isn’t on this “best career prospects” list. I dare somebody to get into Boston College and Yale and go to Boston College because they think that is a better career move. Send ATL both acceptance letters and a BC transcript, and we’ll send you $100 and a photograph signed by God.
Princeton Review’s methodology is different than most rankings because of the qualitative data it collects from student surveys:

In order for a school to appear on our ranking lists and receive “Students Say” text, it must: (1) meet our criteria for academic excellence and (2) allow us to conduct surveys of its students. We attempted to collect student opinions and statistical data from all law schools approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). We wrote “Students Say” profiles for all schools from which we collected student opinions. Those ABA-approved schools from which we didn’t collect student opinions, but whose administrators reported their statistics to us, receive a data listing on our site and in our book. We also include data listings of some Canadian and California Bar Association-Accredited (CALS) Schools.
In an interview with Princeton Review, Assistant Dean for Career Services Maris Abbene cited the mandatory meetings with 1L’s in November each year as a key to BC Law’s employment successes.
