TODAY at 12:30: James Bond and the Jurisprudence of Clarence Thomas
Today at 12:30 in Stuart 409, the Federalist Society and LSA are co-sponsoring an event on “The Jurisprudence of Clarence Thomas.” Featuring Professor James Bond, the former Dean of the Seattle University School of Law, the event will be the last of the Federalist Society’s Lunch Speaker Series for the 2007-2008 school year. Free lunch of wraps and sandwiches will be provided.
Professor Bond was appointed dean of the Seattle University School of Law in 1986 and remained in that post for seven years. He assumed that title again from 1995 until spring 2000. From 2000-01 he was a Scholar-in-Residence at Liberty Fund, and from 2001 to 2004 served as Seattle University’s first University Professor. He currently is Professor Emeritus and is working at the Liberty Fund. He teaches Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Jurisprudence.
