BCLS Rankings in Perspective

USNews.jpgWith the release of the 2009 US News & World Report Law School Rankings, some commenters have claimed that BCLS’s rise from 28 in last year’s ranking to 26 in the most recent iteration should not be celebrated since it is still a “net loss” from BCLS’s historical position in the rankings.

While technically correct, BCLS’s current rank is only one place lower than its average rank of 25 in the eighteen previous editions it appeared. Full list of BCLS rankings appears after the jump.
