Where is my mind/internet?

If a blogger writes for a community not able to access the internet, is he actually blogging? As a few of you may have noticed, our internet at BCLS has been pretty atrocious the past couple of days. Much like the parking situation, it seems like too many computers are trying to access a limited magical internet resource. I am starting to wonder whether we could steal internet from Newton Country Day next door. I understand that the gchat demand may be heavy in some classrooms, but we have some pretty essential day baseball games coming up and I would not want to deprive Red Sox fans of a collapse reminiscent of the 2007 New York Metropolitans.
When I asked the computer help desk in the library, they told me that the connections were locking up and defeating the transmission of information. Here’s hoping someone over on main campus can Houdini us out of this jam.

It drives me crazy that the administration tells us that we should use the wired network while the wireless network is upgraded and yet half the classrooms in Stuart are not wired. Come on, guys - this is a terrible way to introduce the 1Ls to the BC administration.
