BC Law: Home of the Super Lawyers

Boston College Law School has taken the number one spot on the list of law schools that produce “Super Lawyers” in the Super Lawyers magazine. BCLS ranks above Harvard and Yale law schools in terms of law schools that produce lawyers that are truly super. Super lawyers are the most distinguished and capable attorneys in the legal field, nominated and added to the roles based on twelve rigorous criteria: verdicts and settlements; transactions; representative clients; experience; honors and awards; special licenses and certifications; position within law firm; bar and or other professional activity; pro bono and community service as a lawyer; scholarly lectures and writings; education and employment background; and other outstanding achievements. It is nice to go to a law school that produces so many exceptional attorneys.

Isn't that just for New England though?
Hey, I think this is great news: consider that BC really isn't that large a law school. I think our classes are about a third of the size of Harvard's, right? So the odds should have been stacked against BC? I think this says a lot about the school itself.
That is really impressive, especially since it is for all of New England.
Unfortunately, outside of New England most people don't know the difference between BC and BU.
